The title “The Tuning of the World” is taken from the classic text on soundscapes by R Murray Schafer. This book has been deeply influential in my own practice, though the documents in this series are not about sound.

These are landscapes tuned both by our direct physical interventions as well as by the imaging devices that mediate our experience of them. We process our environment at the many levels of consumption.
