You're all set!

The artist is alerted of the redemption and they will send the physical NFT to you!

Our automated system encrypts your information and sends it directly to the artist upon NFT redemption. We do not keep your information after it is sent to the artist.

No. Our platform ensures that each NFT can only be redeemed once.

On the collection page you can view the status of each NFT. You can also filter and search for specific NFTs. All redemptions are written to the blockchain, you can check out the contracts yourself:

Please disconnect your wallet, refresh the website, then reconnect your wallet. That should do the trick!

Artfora Printmaking

Artfora's Printmaking platform allows all artists with NFTs to offer unique prints to their collectors with absolutely no effort or up front cost. Artists can decide exactly how they want their print to be (paper type, size, etc.), and owners of the NFTs can have these printed and shipped directly to them. Artfora's Printmaking Platform levearges Artfora's Redemption System to ensure that all prints are paired with their NFT and recorded on the blockchain and ensuring there can ever be only one official print (editioned prints coming soon!).

We've designed Artfora's Printmaking Platform to be as effortless as possible:

  1. Sign up to our closed beta and we will upload your NFT collection to Artfora
  2. Select your printing preferences: Paper type, paper size, and finishing
  3. Select the price of the print (or leave it at the minimum, to offer your collectors the most affordable option possible)
  4. Activate your collection
  5. And that's it!

Now, collectors will be able to collect a physical print paired with the NFT of your artwork! Each physical redemption is recorded to the blockchain in our Redemption Smart Contract, ensuring no other official prints can ever be associated with the NFT.

Artfora has teamed up with Tribeca Printworks to provide the highest level of fine-art printing and shipping as possible. Tribeca Printworks has worked with some of the world's most prominent artists, with single prints sold for millions of dollars at the world's leading galleries and auction houses.

Artfora's Printmaking Platform is at no up front cost to artists.

All prints and shipping are paid for by the collector and are calculated according to the printing preferences specified by the artist and the delivery destination of the collector.

Artists are in complete control of the price of the print!

1. Artist can set a custom print price. Artfora deducts the minimum print cost, and receives 3% of any amount beyond that.

e.g.
Print price set by artist: $100
Minimum print cost: $20
Artist receives: ($100-$20)-3%=$77.6

OR

2. Artists can set the price of prints to the minimum to offer collectors the most affordable option possible. In this case, the artist will not receive any fee from the redemption of the print, and collectors will be able to claim the print at minimum cost.

Artists have all of the control they need over their artwork! Artists choose the paper type, the size of the print, and the finishing options.

Paper Types:

  • Hahnemühle Photo Rag Bright White
  • Hahnemühle German Etching
  • Hahnemühle FineArt Pearl
  • Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta
  • Epson Hot Press Bright Paper
  • Epson Cold Press Bright Paper
  • Epson Premium Glossy Photo Paper
  • Epson Enhanced Matte
  • Luster Photo Paper

about the different paper types.

Finishing Types:

  • Standard - None
  • Hand-torn “deckled” edges

The original NFT image is used as found in the NFT metadata. All images are sized to fit the selected paper size (images are not cropped). The paper is cut accordingly, leaving an added 0.5 inch margins around the image.

For example:
Image Aspect Ratio: 10:9
Selected Paper Size: 20″ x 20″
Printed Image Size: 20″ x 18″
Margins: 0.5″
Final Print Size: 21″ x 19″

Please reach out to help@artfora.com if you have any questions about this.

You don't! We use the image that is associated with the NFT on the blockchain to ensure the two are perfectly paired.

As a rule of thumb, the higher the DPI, the better.

We recommend 300 DPI for all prints, but can accommodate files with resolutions as low as 96 DPI at output size. Anything under 96 DPI is at risk of being blurry and/or pixelated.

To calculate your image's DPI use the following formula:

(image short side in pixels) / (printed image short side in inches) = DPI

For example:
A file that is 6000px x 9000px and scaled to 20″ x 30″ has a resolution of 300 DPI.
